Safety and environmental protection

The Black+Decker BXGNI4000E generator is equipped with multiple SAFETY systems:

• OIL LEVEL SAFETY: if the oil level is too low, the engine will automatically shut down
• OVERLOAD SAFETY: if the system detects an overload level that is too high, the circuit breaker will trip and the motor will shut down
• ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY: The engine automatically adapts to energy needs by varying the operating speed, thus reducing consumption

Starting up

• Just fill up with gasoline (unleaded 95 or 98) and conventional oil for 4-stroke engines (15W40, 1/2 liter)
• Be sure to put enough oil because the engine is equipped with a safety device, a too low oil level will prevent the starting
• Check that the battery is well connected, open the fuel supply and start the engine by turning the ignition key or by using the remote control

Maintenance

• After 20 hours of use: change the oil + clean the air and fuel filters and the spark plug.
• Repeat the operation every 100 hours.
