THE MOTORIZATION

THE GENERATOR

• The alternator is made of 100% copper in order to allow a sustainable production of quality electricity
• The unit is equipped with an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) system with a variation margin of 1.5% (most of our competitors offer units with AVR at 5%)
• The AVR delivers a pure sinusoidal signal for a quality of electricity perfectly adapted to the needs of the devices that you will connect to it, even sensitive ones such as cell phones, computers etc.
• The generator delivers 230 V in single phase as well as 400 V in three phase
• Maximum power at 400 V and 230 V: 10 kVA / 7.2 kW
• Rated power at 400 V and 230 V: 9.4 kVA / 6.75 kW

THE CONTROL PANEL

• Equipped with an electronic display allowing to control the voltage, the amperage, the number of hours of use.
• 1 x 400V/16A three-phase socket, 1 x 230V/32A single-phase socket and 1 x 12V socket
• 1 key for automatic start
• 2 thermal circuit breakers for safety.

THE START-UP SYSTEM

• The electric starter allows an immediate and effortless start. If necessary, the starter can also be started manually with the classic rope starter.

THE FUEL

With a 25 liter fuel tank, this unit can operate up to 12 hours with gasoline and 16 hours with propane (based on a 19 kg cylinder).

The gasoline used must be SP95 or the SP98.

USE WITH GAS

Advantages of using gas:

• The biggest attraction of gas is the lower operating costs (bottled gas is about 30% - 50% cheaper to use now than gasoline, the larger the cylinder the cheaper the gas becomes). As gasoline becomes more expensive it becomes an even more attractive offer.

• You have greater flexibility in extending run time, simply use a larger cylinder if you need more run time; you are no longer limited by the internal fuel tank.

• Cleaner emissions allow for use in situations where gasoline is not appropriate, such as around food or on sites that prohibit gasoline due to fire hazards.

• There are no storage problems either, unlike gasoline which deteriorates and has a very strong odor.

• Minimal risk of fuel spillage, as the fuel is not "loose" / fluid, there is also less risk of theft of the fuel source.

• Reduced maintenance costs due to cleaner operation; gasoline degrades over time and can clog the carburetor or interfere with its operation.
  The gas does not have this problem because the gas is sealed, there is no chance of degradation. This extends the life of the spark plug and generator components.

• Much easier to refuel, just connect a new cylinder. With more and more places, especially campgrounds, banning the use of gasoline and diesel, we believe the demand for LPG generators will only increase in the future.

Everything needed for gas operation is included with the machine.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The generator Kompak K10000TE-T is equipped with multiple SAFETY systems.

• OIL LEVEL SAFETY: if the oil level is too low, the engine will automatically shut down.
• OVERHEAT SAFETY: if the operating temperature rises abnormally, the motor will automatically shut down.
• OVER VOLTAGE SAFETY: If the system detects a too high overload level, the output current is stopped while keeping the motor running.
• ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY: The motor automatically adapts to the energy requirements by varying the operating speed, thus reducing consumption.

STARTING UP

• Simply fill up with gasoline (unleaded 95 or 98) or connect the propane bottle and conventional 4-stroke engine oil (15W40, 1.6 liters)
• Be sure to put in enough oil because the engine is equipped with a safety device, and if the oil level is too low, the engine will not start
• Check that the battery is connected, open the fuel (or gas) supply, turn the manual choke to the left and start the engine by turning the ignition key, then gently turn the choke to the right

The procedure is simple and fastIn case of failure, we send a carrier to your home, we return the product to Kompak who repairs it and returns it to you free of charge.
