The motorization

• BLACK+DECKER generator sets use BLACK+DECKER engines
• They are all equipped with an oil level alarm
• 4-stroke engine with OHV, 498 cc
• Exhaust silencer reduces noise emissions

The generator

• The alternator is made of 100% copper in order to allow a sustainable production of quality electricity
• The unit is equipped with an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) system with a variation margin of 1.5% (most of our competitors offer units with AVR at 5%)
• The AVR allows you to deliver a quantity and quality of electricity perfectly adapted to the needs of the devices you will connect to it, even if they are sensitive
• The generator delivers a constant voltage of 230V and 400V
• Maximum power : 5800W (230V) / 7.9KvA (400V)
• Power rating: 5500W (230V) / 7.5KvA (400V)

The generator of this genset can withstand phase imbalances of 100%, up to a limit of one third of the total power of the genset per phase.

The control panel

• The electric starter allows immediate and effortless starting.

• Starting is automatic if an ATS box is installed. Even the preheating of the diesel engine is done automatically in case of low outside temperature.

Safety and environmental protection

The BXGND7900E generator set is equipped with multiple SAFETY systems:

• OIL LEVEL SAFETY: if the oil level is too low, the engine will automatically shut off
• OVERLOAD SAFETY: if the system detects an overload level that is too high, the circuit breaker trips and the motor shuts down
• ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY: The engine automatically adapts to the energy requirements by varying the operating speed, thus reducing consumption

The start-up

• Just fill up with gasoline (unleaded 95 or 98) and conventional 4-stroke engine oil (15W40, 1.6 liter)
• Be sure to put in enough oil because the engine is equipped with a safety device, and if the oil level is too low, the engine will not start
• Check that the battery is properly connected, open the fuel supply and start the engine by turning the ignition key or using the remote control

Maintenance

• After 20 hours of use: change the oil + clean the air and fuel filters and the spark plug.
• Repeat the operation every 100 hours.
